Can I use my own tablets or printers?
In many cases, yes. We first check whether your devices work with iButler. The handheld works on any device with a browser.
What is the difference between a payment terminal and Tap-to-Pay?
A payment terminal is a separate device with a built-in receipt printer, WiFi and 4G. Tap-to-Pay is an app on your phone. The guest pays contactless on your phone and gets a digital receipt. A practical set-up is a terminal with receipt printer at the bar and Tap-to-Pay on the terrace.
Which phone do I need for Tap-to-Pay?
A compatible phone with NFC, running iOS or Android. Card details are not stored on the phone.
Which payment methods can I accept?
Maestro, V PAY, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, iDEAL, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancontact, Alipay+, WeChat Pay and UnionPay.
What if the internet goes down?
The payment terminal has an offline mode. Payments are stored and sent as soon as the connection is back. The terminal can also use 4G, with the SIM card that comes with it.
When is the money in my account?
The next working day.
Does the payment show up in the POS?
Yes. After payment, the payment terminal updates the bill in iButler Kassa.
Do you also supply wifi?
Yes. Wappstars supplies business wifi with a separate network for the POS and staff, apart from the network for guests. We first measure the coverage at your location.
How quickly can I start?

Wappstars supplies payment terminals for the counter, the table and the terrace. The terminal has a built-in receipt printer, a touchscreen, WiFi and 4G with SIM card, and a battery that lasts a full working day. If the connection drops, the terminal stores payments and sends them later. After payment, the terminal updates the bill in iButler Kassa. The money is in your account the next working day.
Tap-to-Pay on your phone
With the Tap-to-Pay app on your phone, a guest can pay contactless, without a separate card machine. You need a compatible phone with NFC for this. After a measurement at your location, our technical partners install the wifi, with coverage right out to the terrace.
